About Lakeview

We are simply here to share in our love for the life-changing

Biblical Truth of Jesus Christ.

We are not perfect people, do not dress any certain way, and are not here to judge you or your past. Our congregation is a friendly family who enjoys being together.

At Lakeview Gospel Centre, you can come as you are...  no church experience required.

We sing modern worship music and hear relevant teaching in our sanctuary, hang out with coffee and tea in the lounge and lobby, and occasionally share meals together. When you come to Lakeview, you can expect an environment that is warm, friendly, and welcoming.

Our Vision is to become a body of believers that are committed to becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. We have a passion and goal to reach at least 5% of our district with His love.

Our Mission is Loving Jesus, Loving People, we exist to love in Jesus name.

Beliefs

Our Beliefs

   The Bible

  • The Bible is God's Word, and has been recorded as men were prompted by the Holy Spirit.  2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21.

   God's Nature

  • We believe in the One True God who is the Eternal Holy Spirit, the Father of all creation, who was manifest in flesh as the Son of God.  John 4:24; Genesis 1:1; 1 Timothy 3:16.

   Our Nature

  • Mankind, who was originally created in the image and likeness of God, fell through sin and, as a consequence, incurred both spiritual and physical death. We can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Romans 5:12; James 1:14-15; John 14:6;  1 Timothy 2:5-6.

   Salvation

  • Salvation has been provided for all people through the sacrifice of Christ upon the cross. His atoning work has been proven by His resurrection from the dead. Those who believe in Christ and confess Him as Lord of their lives are born again of the Holy Spirit and receive everlasting life.  Romans 10:9-10.

  • Assurance of salvation is the privilege of all who are born again by the Spirit through faith in Christ, resulting in love, gratitude and obedience toward God.  John 10:27-30.

   Baptism

  • Water baptism signifies the believer's identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection and is practiced by immersion.  Romans 6:3-5; Acts 19:5.

  • The baptism by the Holy Spirit is an experience subsequent to salvation with the scriptural evidences of power, christian witness and speaking in tongues.  Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4.
